Importance of the Dean’s Circle The Dean’s Circle is an essential component of the College of Engineering’s recruiting strategy. As the college continues to grow its endowments to ensure its long-term strength, the Dean’s Circle provides flexibility in using funds that meet the needs of students today. For example, Dean’s Circle dollars might be used to provide a scholarship for an incoming freshman or to supplement a scholarship package for a top student. These scholarship resources allow the college to offer competitive financial aid packages that help highly qualified students attend NC State, in constant fulfillment of the university’s mission.
